Full description
This is a unique original watercolour painting of Gillian, an old-fashioned little girl doll. Dressed in yellow flowered smock with striped petticoat and a peep of lacy bloomers, with her long curly hair held under a mob-cap, she has big green eyes and a lovely smile under her little button nose. This is a delightful small picture, ideal for a child's bedroom or nursery, and could inspire many bedtime stories. It would make a perfect christening or new baby gift.
Using artist-quality paints on heavy weight paper for a high-quality professional finish, the picture is presented in an off-white / pale cream colour mount, with a backing board and protected in a clear cellophane bag. Measuring (with mount) 8” wide by 10” tall (image size 5” by 7”) - that’s approximately 20 by 25 (12 by 18) in cm - it will fit a readily-available standard-size frame. If you don't have space to display a large work of art, you can still own an original artwork with this small painting.
