As a young boy I can remember watching my Grandad mowing his lawn with his big green and red petrol lawnmower (well it seemed really big to me at the time), it was noisy but left his lawns with perfect stripes.
I recently came across a rusty green metal grass box from a lawnmower. Initially I just liked the rusty patina and the flaking makers logo on the front and thought I could put it to good use.
It was from a Suffolk Super Colt, which I Googled to find out a bit more about it. As soon as I saw the pictures of the green and red Suffolk lawnmowers it reminded me of my Grandad and brought a smile to my face.

This rusty metal wall clock has been handmade in Norfolk England from the grass box from an old Suffolk Super Colt lawnmower.
The grass box I had was far too rusty to be of use any more, but still had some sections which I could use. So I salvaged what I could to make this wall clock. The metal has been cut, cleaned and the sharp edges removed. This clock is from the end section of the grass box.
This one of a kind clock would look make a great addition to your home / shed / workshop or make a truly unique gift for someone special.
The clock has a quality quartz sweep (non-ticking) movement and takes 1 x AA Battery (not included). There is a hook on the back so it is ready to hang on your wall.
The dimensions are:
25.5cm / 10 inches diameter
1cm / 3/8 inch Deep (Metal clock face is 2mm / 1/16th inch thick)
