I imagined catching a bubble and turning it into silver. Of course it's impossible, but there are ways of making something that looks just right. Silver filigree is perfect for the task because it traces a fine outline through which the background can be seen and it is robust but not heavy. The Labradorite beads suggest the rainbows that form on the surface of a bubble before it bursts POP*

My stylish filigree bracelet is inspired by bubbles. It has an asymmetrical filigree centrepiece, flanked with 6 mm Labradorite beads to make it look more "bubbly." Labradorite is a semi-precious gemstone that is dove grey in colour but has flashes of green, blue and violet deep within the stone. The Inuit people of Canada believe these colours are the Northern Lights trapped forever in the stone. My bracelet measures 195 mm 7 3/4" long and is fastened by a sturdy, easy to fasten hook clasp which I hand-made myself. This bracelet compliments any style or colour of clothing. The filigree was handmade by me in my West Sussex workshop by making hoops of wire in different sizes and thicknesses of wire, which I soldered together myself to create the shape. It is finished with a sturdy 3 mm belcher chain. If you need this chain shortened, please contact me as I can do this easily!
