We all know how easy it is to mislay or damage photographs - especially old ones! We can now preserve those photographs forever in glass! They will never fade, scratch or rub off. Making them into useful tealight holders also gives them a purpose. So, don't banish your lovely photographs to a drawer or box! Give them pride of place day and night and make a memory in glass!
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
Full description
Photographs are easily damaged, lost or destroyed and with them a whole host of memories.
Elle & Pea can preserve these valuable memories in glass! We can turn your precious photographs into a gorgeous and unusual tealight holder!
Once made, the image will never fade, scratch or rub off - it has melted into the glass and is therefore permanent.
This technique can be used with colour, black and white or sepia photographs and colour photographs can be changed into black and white or sepia if you prefer. The original photograph is undamaged.
For tealight holders we would require the photograph to be a landscape shape (wedding photographs work particularly well!).
Measurements: Panel approximately 4" x 3"
Base approximately 3" in diameter
Each piece is hand cut, assembled and fired in my studio in Edinburgh, Scotland and each one comes in a recycled card box.
Please note: the photograph used in this example is very old - the sharpness of the original photograph dictates the sharpness of the final piece.
Please checkout as normal and you will be contacted with additional information regarding your order.
