Inspiration for my work comes from the idea of finding beauty in the function of simple pots. Most of us use ceramics everyday, especially in the kitchen. Taking time to drink tea from your favourite mug, or eat soup from an honest bowl can be a simple, background pleasure in life.
I throw all my pots by hand on a pottery wheel, and enjoy throwing as many elements as possible: even lids and knobs. Most of my pottery is made using stoneware clay. Stoneware has a firm texture which I feel best reflects a rustic influence and the plain style of my pottery.
Most of all I hope people enjoy using my pots.

Full description
A gorgeous ceramic love potion bottle with cork stopper and heart shaped ceramic tag. These bottles are handthrown on a wheel using rustic stoneware clay and glazed inside and out using a satin white glaze. The base of the bottle is left unglazed to show the beautiful natural bare clay.
Each bottle has a handmade heart-shaped stoneware tag tied around the bottle neck using natural jute twine. These tags are glazed on one side only using a white glaze over blue impressed lettering with the words 'love potion'.
These bottles can be filled with bathroom products like oils, salts and lotions. The glaze used for these bottles is food safe and dishwasher safe which also makes these bottles suitable for use in the kitchen. And because the bottles are plain white, just on their own they make lovely little bud vases too!
Each bottle has a unique character and makes an extra special gift. Please note that slight variations in shape or glazing decoration are a part of the individual charm of these bottles.
