Full description
A beautiful felted handbag measuring approximately 8.5"(22cm) height x 12"(30cm) across the top with a flat rectangular base measuring 4"(10cm) x 8.5"(22cm).
Ideal for everyday use or for that special occasion. This bag has been felted using a nuno felting technique. Grey jacob wool has been felted onto a cotton muslin base. A medium weight interfacing has been applied to the resulting fabric to add strength and stability and the bag has been lined with cream calico cotton fabric. All structural seams have been double stitched to give added strength. A magnetic clasp has been added to provide closure of the bag. A large felted yellow flower has been added to the front of the bag for decorative effect. I have included a removable base card covered in the lining fabric to reinforce the bag and stop the base from sagging if heavy items are placed in the bag.
A lovely item that would make a perfect gift for valentines day, mothers day, anniversary, birthday or just because.....
