Have a lovely Chrsitmas everyone
And thank you for supporting my business through 2025 Joy xx
I used the overlapping circle design in a cloud suncatcher and realised that if I rotated it 45 degrees I could get a rather interesting tree - so I did.

This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A brand new design for 2015.
A bright green tree with the leaf canopy built up from 21 overlapping circles. Beneath the tree 10 little red apples have piled up on the grassy bank.
I've used several different textures and shades of green glass for the leaves, this gives it movement. It's raining beneath the tree but the sun must be shining as the iridescent raindrop glass has a pretty turquoise shimmer.
The fallen apples are fused glass nuggets with millefiori centres which I made specially for this suncatcher in my kiln..
This circular picture is framed with twisted wire for neatness and strength and hangs from a silvery chain which is firmly soldered to the top.
It is 14 cm in diameter.
My pieces are all unique. I use different shades and textures of glass to ensure that everything I make, even when to the same pattern, is different.
All photos are of this suncatcher as it's the first I've made to this design. I've tried to show the pretty pattern on the apples by taking photos in different lights.
