Knots are more stocky and less elegant than some other waders but I could not resist making and painting them in their lovely summer plumage!

Full description
Pair of hand carved and painted knot on a wood block base. They have hand painted glass eyes and are finished to a soft shine with wax. These birds are in their glorious summer plumage and are a medium sized, stocky wader. The piece is 38cm wide, 18cm tall and 7 cm deep overall. ( Please note. There is minor indent on the wood base 1mm x 5mm near the beak but it won't spoil your enjoyment of the piece)
