I often use embroidery threads in my jewellery making, but wanted to make the thread rather than the fabric the main feature with this piece.
The colours and shapes I have chosen are all influenced by Mid-century pattern design and architecture.

Full description
This semi-circular pendant is made from an Indigo batik fabric and is fully interfaced to provide structure. I have bound the edges in a Khaki embroidery thread incorporating 2 dominant triangles. The pendant is suspended beneath a brass square tube and is hung from a chain of gold vermeil.
All findings and chain are gold vermeil (sterling silver plated with 18kt gold).
Semi circle measures 60x30mm, entire pendant is 60x45mm.
Chain is 1.2mm rolo chain, 20'' long.

This item will be sent in a handmade calico pouch inside a flat cardboard box. The box is classed as large letter post so should fit through your letterbox.
