Very happy to report October 2016 that my hedgehog family is still visiting every night to eat the mealy worms I put out for them. They do get through quite a lot but then there are at least 3. I'm hoping they will be taking shelter over the winter in the house I've prepared for them - as they did last year.

A stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.
A hedgehog, a favourite animal as I have a family in my garden who come in every night for their supper of mealworms.
I've named this one Prickcilla . Please though do feel free to call her whatever you want.
She is looking very happy indeed as she's really enjoyed her supper of mealworms and was surprised as she finished eating when a little silver butterfly landed on the end of his nose and stuck itself there..
This is made with what I call my hedgehog glass. This multi-coloured textured glass looks a bit like a hedgehog's prickles.
The front is streaky white and I've used a silver flower bead for the eye. The prickles are made from wire.
This would make a super, unique present for anyone and especially for someone who collects hedgehogs. I promise they will not have one of these.
It looks absolutely beautiful hanging in the window where it catches the light and would make a lovely ornament for any room.
The suncatcher hangs from a little chain which is securely attached to the top of the hedgehog.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
It is approximately 11.5cm x 8cm high.
The 5th photo is of one of my real garden hedgehog family enjoying the mealy worms I put out for them.
