Far from the pretty,pretty bland combs - dare you? I have made an out-and-out jade/ turquoise version too,but by their very nature they are completely different. Other colours can be made to order.

I bought some plain hair combs to see what I could make that would be different.
(Just between you and me, there are loads of very bland ones on offer,or so it seems) This one could never be described as boring or ordinary.
It all started with the traditional first wrap, using small red coral beads as the spine. But then, freeform took over power! It has wire wraps and springs holding Swarovski crystals, or copper shapes. You'll also find tiny antique bronze coloured butterflies, amber beads and larger crystals. I've recently pepped it up by adding contrats of turquoi and teal. All the wires can be gently moved about to suit.
The width of the comb is 7cm and its depth(just the comb) is 3.5cm. The wild and crazy wires and springs make the height more or less as you choose.
