I wanted to make this simple stitch pattern into a fabric that would speak by itself.
This is more 4 Ply than DK and the small stitch pattern creates a fabric that has a consistent weight therefore drapes beautifully.
I have now made this design in several colours always using 100% fine wool and it is consistently my most requested project.

I made this triangular shawl in thin 4 Ply 100 per cent wool bought from a farm in Yorkshire and enjoyed it so much I bought another wool lot and made it again.

Easy modern take on the traditional Granny Square stitch repeated through out. The Cloister stitch creates a fine lace neither too light nor too holey.

100 per cent fine wool so dry clean recommended.

It is a big generous shawl although you may fold it and style it as a scarf.

It will be carefully wrapped for shipment.
