Hello Autumn!
Been delaying to greet the day with that statement but the fallen leaves carpet on my driveway says Summer is not coming back.
Dusk is creeping in earlier each day and soon it will be time to knit by the fire or a nice South facing window. Looking forward to evenings nestled up in my favourite chair with a cup of brew, a book and my knitting.

I am a country girl at heart and take inspiration from the small pleasures in life like the gentle purring of a content cat sleeping on my lap.
I have recently moved to Ceredigion in West Wales from Hampshire so expect to see more creations in shades of grey inspired by the stone and slate everywhere around me. Plus of course, the sea and its strong influence in this coastline. Shades of purple and indigo using wave lace patterns and cables are creating raging storms in my head. If only I could knit as fast as these storms come and go in my dreams...

Nice cheap scarf but I had to wash it before I could wear it because it smelt of damp and mould, otherwise it seems ok
