Full description
This yarn bowl was hand thrown on my potters wheel using strong white stoneware clay. Whilst the clay was still damp I carved out the slit for your wool and added a few holes to thread different yarns or your needles through and the bowl was made into a very slight oval shape. I glazed it in a duo of Olive Green and Brick Red glazes which merge together to give this wonderful speckled effect. I love how the brick red very subtly shows through the green
A yarn bowl stops your wool from rolling over the floor as you knit. A must have for any knitter.
