Well - I have made knitting mice, so i thought it time i made a knitting elephant and here she is......
This time I have used plain white cotton fabric that i have dyed with coffee and cinnamon and then she has had a quick sanding - not that she felt it !
She has glass bead eyes and a little spotty neck tie with a rusty bell. Her arms , tail and knitting are jute. The needles are bamboo with odd vintage buttons at the end.
She is about 16cms. tall and the base contains rice just to make her sit properly.
She is sold as a collectable and not suitable for children.
