Topsham, I have found, is a bird lover's paradise. Walking along the estuary provides plenty of opportunities to admire a host of beautiful wading birds, including Avocets, Oystercatchers, Curlews and Red Shanks.

Applique Curlew Cushion.
The cry of the Curlew has to be the most beautiful of all the wading birds. Whenever I hear it, I immediately feel calm. It seemed appropriate that only one Curlew should adorn this cushion and the result is quite striking. This cushion is my new favourite!
As with all my other cushions in this estuary collection, the central motif has been appliquéd using free motion machine embroidery stitch, reminiscent of softly drawn pencil lines.
Product Details: Each cushion measures 30 x 30 cms.
Removable fabric cover with duck feather insert.
Cover can be spot cleaned or hand washed.
Custom items and larger orders available on request.
