The donkey-theme goes 3D, well 2-and-a half-D! This feller is part of a much larger family that I created for 'Pub Scrawl 2014', a pub-based art experiment in Sheffield.

Full description
This is a large blue/teal donkey, laser-cut out of mdf with a cherry wooden veneer.
The donkey is painted on one side using block-printing ink, etched with a pattern and finished with a matt varnish to protect it.
The donkey was created for an event called 'Pub Scrawl' in Sheffield, at which artists are given a pub and asked to create an installation for one day. This was part of mine. Naturally I went down the donkey route, and I decided to create a display featuring a rather large family of them, all milling about.
The larger family consists of 100 donkeys, and each one is numbered and signed underneath the base.
£2.50 from the sale of each small donkey will be donated to The Donkey Sanctuary charity.
The donkey is 17cm in height and 14cm wide.
It will be posted flat in bubble-wrap and protective packaging. To assemble it, the feet fit snugly into four small holes in the base.
