Full description
I have created this necklace with the minimum of sterling silver to let the gorgeous stones do all the talking.
The beautifully marked black and white agate stones have natural swirls and bands of white and pale grey on a black background. Some of the stones are translucent in areas, showing a brown softness. Each gemstone is unique.
In between the rectangular agate gems are round beads of mother of pearl. These have a black base with a deep grey lustre and compliment the agates beautifully.
The necklace has been hand strung and knotted between each bead using traditional methods. This adds strength and durability to the design.
The necklace closes with a sterling silver magnetic clasp, stamped 925 for sterling silver. Please note that magnets are not recommended during pregnancy or for those fitted with electronic health maintaining devices.
The agate gems measure 18x14mm and are highly polished. The round Mother of Pearl beads measure 6mm in diameter approx. The necklace itself measures 22.5 inches or 57 cm in length approx.
This is a great necklace to be worn over a blouse or polo neck jumper in cooler months.
