A stunning eagle owl, alert and watchful. Offered is an archival quality open edition art print of my original pastel painting, which is part of a series of owl studies (see others for sale here in my Folksy shop). Printed using pigment inks on heavy archival matte paper, this print will far outlast a regular quality inkjet print. Your print will be signed and authenticated on the back and will also come with a signed certificate of authenticity.

This 18 x 24cm image printed on A4 paper comes window mounted (matted) using quality mounting card to a standard 10" x 12" frame size (frame not supplied). Please note that as the image itself isn't a standard size, it is impossible to buy a mass produced window mount to fit it exactly. If you order the mounted option, the mount you receive will have been made specifically for this print. Please let me know when you place your order whether you would prefer a black, white or ivory window mount for your print.

Each print is packaged and padded for protection. Free UK postage! Shipping will be within two working days.

I love animals, and years of them being my main choice of subject when I paint or draw means that I can really bring them to life in my work. I love the intensity of an owls' stare, and eagle owls have such beautiful eyes. This is also a continuing development of my chalk pastel work - this time working on Pastelmat paper. I love the way you can layer colour on colour and can tickle the pastel across the surface of the paper to get the most delicate lines and textures.
