Vintage fabric patchworking is becoming a bit of an obssesion !
There is an ENORMOUS amount of work in these quilts, especially if they feature 'hexie' patchwork or hand overstitching or hand cutting of patchwork pieces.
This is one of my smaller and simpler ones but even these take several hours of cutting,planning and piecing together !

Vintage Fabric Quilt - child cot size Animals quilt
This is made from my huge range of vintage fabrics and is most definately one of a kind! This features a number of 70s fabric featuring birds and wild animals , taken from fabrics called "Sherwood' and "Whipsnade" . I do have some matching bunting as well and cushions as well .
A great cot , snuggle, play mat quilt size

85 cm by 95 cm
Polyester wadding
Made up of 10cm cotton/poly cotton vintage fabrics
Combination of machine overstitching
Bias Binding edging
Backed with a pastel orange/blue stripe cotton .
I have several other items that feature the fabrics used in this quilt for a co-ordinated look - contact me for details
Please note I use VINTAGE fabrics , dating from the 50s, 60s and 70s. As such they have lived a little so please take this into account. I try to use the best I can find but sometime the rarity and charm of a fabric is irristable in spite of a few minor fold marks/wear of light fading !
Please note : this quilt will also be also offered for sale on another site as well, should it sell on BOTH sites it will go to the first customer to order .
