I remember making patterns like this at school by winding thread around nails on a board. I also had a spirograph set and some of the patterns I make are similar to the ones you could make with those amazing cogs and pens.

Full description
I use embroidery thread to sew geometric patterns into card, the work changes subtly with different light and this design includes a drawn line that the circles 'roll' along.
The box frame can either be hung on the wall or simply sit on a shelf. External dimensions are 25x25cm. The work will be sent by first class 'signed for'.
