I HAVE MADE SEVERAL DRIFTWOOD SHAPED ITEMS, THIS ONE IS A SHIP'S ANCHOR SHAPED VERSION, ALL THE PIECES WERE FOUND ON BEACHES IN CORNWALL LAST YEAR. ALL THE DRIFTWOOD IS MOUNTED ON A BACKING BOARD.
THE ANCHOR IS ABOUT 12" TALL OR SO. DON'T TRY USING IT AS A REAL ANCHOR...IT FLOATS!
IDEAL FOR ANYONE WITH A LOVE OF THE SEA, R HAS AN INTEREST IN THINGS NAUTICAL, HENCE THE DRIFTWOOD OR FOR SOMEONE WITH AN INTEREST IN NATURE.
I WILL ATTACH AN EYE AND LENGTH OF STRING SO THAT IT CAN BE HUNG UP SOMEWHERE, IDEAL FOR A SEASIDE COTTAGE OR BEACH HUT.
I CAN MAKE LARGER OR SMALLER VERSIONS, PLEASE ASK IF YOU WOULD LIKE A DIFFERENT SIZE.
THE ONE IN THE PHOTOGRAPH IS AN EXAMPLE, THESE ARE HAND MADE AND ALL VARY SLIGHTLY, YOURS WILL BE AS SIMILAR AS I CAN GET.
IF YOU PREFER, I CAN SEND YOU ALL THE PIECES IN KIT FORM SO THAT YOU CAN DESIGN YOUR VERY OWN. I WILL SUPPLY THE BACKING BOARD AND THE PILE OF DRIFTWOOD, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS PROVIDE THE GLUE AND TIME. IT IS BRILLIANT TO DO THIS WITH YOUNGER CHILDREN. PLEASE ASK FOR DETAILS.
