Having been asked by my brother-in-law to make some 'interesting' ties as he was struggling to find any available I thought they would make a great addition to CatkinJane. I'm pleased to say they are proving to be popular with many people for all sorts of occasions.

Full description
This handmade tie is made from cotton lawn fabric which is finely woven, light weight and ultra soft. Liberty print Chive is from the Liberty Art Fabrics collection and was based on a design in the Liberty archive. It has been used for a Classic Tana since 1979.
The tie is bias cut, hand rolled, and hand sewn closed with a hidden slip stitch which ensures that you will get a perfect knot.
This is a narrower version of my ties being approximately 2.5" (6.5cm) at its widest, and it's length is approx. 59" (150cm)
The Liberty fabrics I am using are often vintage or discontinued designs making these ties not easily repeatable, but I sometimes have sufficient fabric to make more ties so do contact me if you would like more than one.
