I made one of these about a year ago and it sold to a pig farmer ! Originally i had made a similar one - the box contained a shy elephant - so this is just a variation on a theme and i can't remember my original inspiration ! Too many elephants under the bridge !

Full description
Little, coffee and cinnamon dyed, linen, piglet - sanded back for a worn appearance . He has little traditional glass eyes , a vintage linen button snout and has been jointed with vintage linen buttons. He has a spotty ribbon around his neck with an attached rusty bell and his name is hand written onto a coffee dyed label and attached to the ribbon with a rusty safety pin.
The pine box has been lined with vintage book paper and the outer of the box has been painted with acrylics and Indian ink, then varnished (inside as well as out ) .
Piglet measures about 18cms. and the box is 13 cms with the lid closed.
Piglet also has a hand painted linen cushion on which to stand .
This item is sold as a collectable and is not suitable for chidren.
