Full description
This card is a photograph of our embroidered picture of two Blue Tits sitting on a branch by Briars Designs. I was sitting in my kitchen one day and saw these two colourful birds sitting together in the flowering quince in the garden, and I was inspired to create this embroidered picture. The Blue Tits have been hand painted and appliquéd onto the background beige linen fabric and also padded to give a slightly quilted 3D effect. The branches, leaves and flowers have also been created using appliqué with hand embroidered details.
The card measures 15cm x 15cm and the card and envelope are made from recycled paper.
