This is a detailed written KNITTING PATTERN in pdf format for a baby's hat and booties. These cute accessories would look great on your little cub!
The garments are knit flat on two needles. The hat is knit in stocking stitch and reverse stocking stitch with the fox/wolf face added using the intarsia method of knitting. The facial features on the booties are added using duplicate stitch. The pattern includes photos, a chart and row by row written instructions.
Suggested yarns:
100% wool DK or a wool mix DK.
Yarn weight:
DK/8 ply (11 wpi)
Tension/Gauge:
Hat: 22 stitches and 30 rows to 10cm/4 inches using 4mm/US 6 needles over st st.
Booties: 24 stitches and 32 rows to 10cm/4 inches using 3.25mm/US 3 needles over st st.
Needle size:
Hat: 4mm/US 6
Booties: 3.25mm/US 3
Sizes:
0-3(3-6: 6-12) months
