Peas are such a wonderful shape to paint and draw, with there leaves wrapped around the stem and the lovely curly fronds.
I grow them on my vegetable patch, and there is nothing like the taste of the first fresh peas straight from the pod, they rarely make it to the cooking pot.

Full description
An original limited edition linocut hand pulled print on Canford 150gsm paper for an edition of 20.
It was printed using the reduction method. After each colour is printed more of the plate is cut away, so the print cannot be repeated.
Water soluble printing ink and five colours were used during the process. Linocut prints are original prints and are not reproductions. Each print takes time to produce, minor variations occur naturally through the printing process, and each is a individual artwork.
The edition number and title are written under the image in pencil and signed by me.
It has a gallery cut mount in pale cream and backed with card. Cellophane wrapped for protection.
Supplied unframed.
