Full description
This copper toggle clasp has been completely handmade and etched with an effected Japanese star pattern design. A circle is cut to accommodate the toggle, which has been forged from 1.5mm / 15 gauge copper wire. The shape of the toggle is created by hammering, pinching and manipulating the wire with pliers, then hammered to flatten and curve formed in a cupola die: The clasp is formed from .7mm / 21 gauge sheet copper and is formed with a cupola and die to give it its wonderful curved shape. The underside is finished to a mirror polish and bears no pattern. Attached with 1mm / 18 gauge jump rings.
