Raku is a pottery technique that has its origins in 16th Century Japan. It involves removing ware from the kiln while the glaze is still molten, putting it into a reduction chamber and covering with sawdust. This method creates the characteristic 'crackle' glaze.
The chance nature of this process means that every raku piece is completely unique with its own personality. Translated from the Japanese, raku means 'enjoyment'.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

This beautiful ceramic pendant is handmade from stoneware clay and fired using a traditional Japanese technique called Raku. It is glazed on one side in antique green and white crackle glazes.
The pendant measures 35mm by 44mm (1.7 inches by 2 inches) and is strung on a lovely smoky grey suede thong. Raku ceramics are one-off pieces and make beautiful gifts.
This is a listing for one raku pendant only with suede thong
