The children's book Bugs in a Blanket -they seemed to do a lot of partying - so i thought that they might do a spot of knitting in their quieter moments. !

Full description
Knitting bug's body is made from coffee dyed linen with a painted paper clay face. He or maybe she, has a little piece of boiled wool randomly stitched to the body - the arms,legs and antennae are rusty wire.The knitting needles are cut down satay sticks with lttle flat wooden beads on the ends. The knitting itself is vintage darning wool and i crocheted a little scarf for around his neck. Bug sits on a vintage Sylko cotton reel and stands nearly 14 cms tall inc. antennae.
The photo shows an unvarnished face,but will be sent with a coat of satin.
