Influenced by the traditional quilts of yesterday, I hand sew small quilts especially for babies and children.
Each quilt is unique, and is intended as an heirloom piece that can be much loved and treasured in your family and passed down to future generations.
The patchwork tops are carefully hand pieced together before being hand quilted using a diagonal /square quilting pattern.
I only use pure wool wadding of the highest quality.

Custom made just for you and your little one, this quilt will be sewn and quilted entirely by hand, using a selection of retro and vintage fabrics, and filled with 100% pure wool wadding.
The perfect addition for any nursery, this patchwork quilt is inspired by bed covers in children's books.
Using a selection of genuinely vintage and then some contemporary reproduction cotton fabrics, your custom made quilt will measure 30 inches wide and be 42 inches long, it will be entirely stitched and quilted by hand so will be incredibly soft and comforting to feel.
Made from a selection of 140 patchwork squares that each measure 3 inches wide, this quilt can be made to compliment any colour nursery or playroom.
Please note, you will not be receiving the quilt in the photos above but one made just for you.
I am happy to discuss fabric choices for the patchwork,backing and binding with you upon request.
Due to wool wading, gentle hand washing in warm water is recommended. Dry flat, and DO NOT TUMBLE-DRY OR IRON......This flattens the texture of the quilting.
A small hand embroidered name tag with the name of your choice is also included.
Please be aware, due to the amount of work involved, a quilt can take up to 6 weeks to complete, so please allow extra time for delivery (to be agreed upon when the order is placed)
