Full description
This listing is for one 50g spool of corded french waxed linen thread, on a plastic spool like you can see in the pictures. Being corded means it has been twisted twice: it is made of three strands each of which consists of three strands. Cabling increases the resistance, giving a nicely rounded thread.
The thread is available in two thicknesses, called No. 332 and No. 432.
The 332 thread is approx. 0.77mm thick.
One 50g spool has approximately 133 meter of thread or 145 yards.
The 432 thread is approx. 0.63mm thick.
One 50g spool has approximately 200 meter of thread or 220 yards.
