I added deep red colour to the surface of this little bird shaped ceramic pottery bowl. This cheerful colour's great all year round, but makes it especially suitable for use as a candle holder on your table, or as a gift idea for weddings and engagements.

Full description

This little bird would make a sweet housewarming, wedding or birthday gift. The texture and pattern on the surface of this little bird were made by pressing vintage lace into the clay whilst it was still soft. I added deep ruby-red glaze to the top surface, and the underside is unglazed with a little fabric texture.

There are many uses for the little bird. Keep it by your bed to keep earrings safe, use it as a little soap dish or use it as a candle holder at night.

The colour and texture inside are so pretty you might decide to keep it empty for decoration.

It measures approx 3.5 x 4 inches and is 1.25 inches tall.

(9 x 10 x 3cm)

Although I have made a couple of these, the one you will receive is unique, and might vary very very slightly. It will be extremely similar to the one in the main image, and equally pretty, I promise!
