I’m back on Folksy for 2024.
I have wanted to make these birds for a while now, drawing them in various ways and with different patterns. They are inspired by Scandinavian birds which feature in much folk imagery.
This is a custom-made item and cannot be returned unless faulty.

Full description
A slab built buff ceramic stoneware bird vase, glazed on the outside with a dry turquoise and inside with shiny clear glaze. The decoration is created by applying coils of clay and then using various mark making tools to press designs into the piece. The size of the piece is 13cm across and 10cm high.
22nd February, I have sold out of birds today. I will be making more next week and the turn round should be about two weeks. The images show a few of the the ones I have made, the raised pattern varies slightly.
