Full description
Beautiful micro faceted chalcedony necklace with oxidised sterling silver. The blackened appearance of the wire and chain is striking against the bright periwinkle blue-white stone, and the micro faceted surface catches the light beautifully.
The AA grade chalcedony itself is micro-faceted 'heart' shaped briolette in a rich creamy colour. It is approximately 1.2cm in length.
I have hand wire wrapped it in oxidised sterling silver wire, and it hangs from an oxidised sterling chain, 18 inches (16 inches if preferred, please state if so). The oxidising process is what gives it the blackened appearance.
I can also make a non-oxidised version, or matching earrings (for a lovely set) on request.
