My late mother kept a collection of family recipes written on scraps of notepaper inside a much loved cookery book of hers. I absolutely treasure that scruffy little book with all it's random note papers stuffed inside as those have enabled me to re-create some of the dishes I loved most as a child. Without having some reference of those recipes they would have been lost forever and I would never have been able to let my children experience some of their granny's cooking! These recipe cards offer a pretty and more organised way of recording much loved family dishes to pass on to future generations.
