Full description
A beautiful little bud vase which was hand thrown on the wheel and coated first with a dark glaze, then with a layer of Nuka glaze. Nuka glaze is a traditional Japanese glaze which was once used by Shoji Hamada, the great pottery master. When used over the dark glaze it runs and creates these amazing colour streaks and patterns. Although mainly designed as a display piece, i has been fired to 1290 degrees C so is fully waterproof for displaying flowers.
Height is approx. 9cms tall and 8cms wide. Carries Mark Smalley's personal symbol impressed to the base.
UK postage and packing for this item will be at a fixed cost of £4.20 for economy delivery by courier. An extra charge of £2.00 will be required for remote area postcodes IM, HS, ZE.
