My dad passed away earlier this year after being diagnosed with untreatable bowel cancer. Project Dissimulation brings together my love of mail art, postage stamps, zines and linguistics with my dad's love of wildlife and birds. The results have enabled me to make several donations so to a charity called Beating Bowel Cancer (http://www.beatingbowelcancer.org/) - a cause which is suddenly important to me.

A FESTIVE ROUND ROBIN, UPCYCLED POSTAGE STAMP BADGE
You will receive a 1 round pinback button badge similar to the one shown, featuring a fat little robin redbreast huddled against a blue door, surrounded by snow (a British postage stamp from 1995) - a perfect stocking filler for the bird lover in your life!
Even when the image is the same, items made from postage stamps are always entirely unique, due to the postmarks etc acquired by the stamps on their journey through the mail. Nobody else will ever own a badge exactly like this one!
The badge is mounted on a small (7.5 x 5.25cm approx.) manila presentation card, featuring an illustration from a hand-carved stamp by Britta Jarvis.
Your Round Robin badge is simply presented in a plain self-seal cellophane packet. Badge has sharp metal components so is not suitable/safe for young children.
