Circular shaped fabric brooch. EB05
Made from mixed textiles with machine and hand embroidery and beads.
Approximately 5cm / 2" diameter
Silver coloured metal brooch pin.
The majority of my items are made from vintage or pre-loved fabrics. I prefer to use pre-used materials if possible as I feel it's essential we reduce the amount of waste we produce and I find so many treasures are discarded nowadays. In a few years it will no longer be possible to landfill clothing items, so I'm doing my little bit to change people's perceptions of "recycled". I spend a lot of time unpicking garments and soft furnishings and all are carefully cleaned before use.
