Being a librarian I'm very keen on bookmarks not harming the books you use them in. I created this design with smooth embroidery thread to be pretty and not harm the book.

Full description
This is a beautiful pink red gemstone macrame bookmark. It is made using pink embroidery thread, and real red gemstones, possibly jasper or agate. It would make a great gift for a book lover, because it should not harm the book at all because it is so thin.
The bookmark is 10 inches (25.5 cm) long, with the woven bit being 8 and a half inches (21.5 cm) long. The macrame is 3 mm wide.
Macrame is a form of decorative knotting, this bookmark uses the square knot.
The bookmark will be presented in an organza gift bag. The order is sent by Royal Mail First Class.
