This is one of 3 quilts on a pirate and under the sea theme, they are all different of course! my first one was made for my grandson, his dad loves octopus's and the pirates and maps followed on from there. All 3 quilts have an X marks the spot. I love the fact that some of the map fabric I used is based on old maps of Africa, and has 'unexplored territory'.

Inspired by sea creatures and pirates, this beautiful Crazy patchwork crib/moses basket quilt is made with 100% cotton, hand embroidered with toning perle thread. Just the right weight for late summer days- it has a layer of lightweight wadding to keep your little one cosy. Made in a smoke free home (I do have cats!) and of course the quilt is hard wearing and machine washable/can be ironed. approximate size 70cmx75cm.
