I'm a massive Tolkien fan and I wanted to create a portable item that was both useful and would remind other Middle Earth fans of the peace and tranquility of the Shire. I also liked the idea of adding a sense of adventure and mischief with Gandalf and the running rabbits - perhaps they are running from Gollum or a hungry hobbit!
The stylised design is inspired by the simplified characters of medieval art, another passion of mine.

Full description
A Tolkien/ Middle Earth inspired wallet depicting Gandalf arriving in the Shire made from quality 1.5mm thick vegetable tanned leather. The wallet has been carefully hand carved, hand dyed/ painted and hand stitched using strong waxed polyester thread to make it both an attractive and durable product. Finished with a protective waxy coating of carnauba creme, this wallet should accompany you to many a second breakfast and eleventy-first birthday party! As this product is made of real quality vegetable tanned leather, it will develop a patina over time and improve with age, just as wizards do!
The interior of the wallet has three useful pockets. There is a large pocket for bank notes, then a slot for cards which is embossed with a running rabbit. The third is a coin pocket with a sturdy popper closure to keep your money secure. The wallet has a popper on the outside to keep it closed.
This unique, quaint design of Hobbiton just as Gandalf, the 'disturber of the peace' is arriving at Bag End would add to any proud Tolkien fan's collection. Ideal as a quirky gift for any Hobbit lover and sure to last for many a quest and adventure as well as being a highly functional quality accessory.
