Full description
The box is made from recycled solid oak. The top has been decorated using traditional marquetry with a selection of veneers to show a typical scene in the Peak District where I live.
Inside the box is lined with soft black baize and wooden mahogany liners. This ensures the lid closes snugly and requires no additional catches.
The whole box is finished with many layers of shellac and given a final wax polish to create a smooth semi-matt finish.
