Full description
This primitive doll is 'Walking the Dog' very happily with a very happy dog.
They are made from coffee and cinnamon dyed linen, sanded back for a worn ,aged appearance . She has boiled wool hair,a needle sculpted nose and embroidered features.Her skirt is wool and her blouse is Indian woven cotton. The skirt is finished with a rusty bell and safety pin.The little dog has an embroidered mouth and nose, glass bead eyes, a felt collar and lead and that is finished with a rusty bell and safety pin. He is also free standing with the base filled with rice.
She is about 49cms. and about 28 cms. sitting.Little dog is about 9cms.
Not suitable for children, for decoration only.
