There is the soft muffled applause as Derek 'Digger' Hambler is caught out, he has had a fine innings and has done the home team proud, clink of spoons on saucers and the 'out for a duck' friendly fundraiser is in full swing.
Miss Digby has made the bunting, Mrs Fooks Jones has studied her rather random home dyed upcycled efforts with interest, but thinks she best not comment as it may be taken the wrong way. Miss Digby is such a lively character and well thought of (even as a village newcomer) but we don't know if she quite fits in yet.... Still, her bunting is jolly colourful and flutters very gaily against the beautiful blue sky....

Full description
I have bunting fluttering outside my house, I am a self confessed bunting-a-holic
These are hand painted mugs, they are 9.5cm High and 8.5 cm Diameter and hold 12 fluid ounces.
The bunting is 'tied' onto the mug with thick piped underglaze colour so you can feel the string under the glaze, it is tied around the top of the handle and with a bow where the bunting is tied up to the rim.....Often the wind flips the bunting over the top of the mug and a section of it is on the inside.
I paint a heart on the handle of each mg and each is back stamped, signed and entitled 'endless summer'
I attach an artist info and care label to the handle.
These make great gifts, I have a lot of people purchasing two of these from me an a gift tag to go with them. I have produced some new gift tags which I have made a listing for. I will pop one of these tags in free if you want to purchase two of these mugs. (Just add a little note to claim your free gift tag at the checkout.)
These are all individually painted so they will all be different, they are however painted on a theme so they do match! I use food safe underglaze colour and leadfree glaze and fire to earthenware temperatures in my South Norfolk Studio.
I am happy to personalise items and customise, please contact me for details. These mugs will be sent to you by courier and will be packaged in recycled material where possible.
