We love owls in our house.
I taught my daughter how to use the sewing machine...hey presto, we have owl lavender bags and all sorts! Inspired by her making I made her a stitched owl mug for her first little stall at a craft show in the village...she loves it (but does not like it that I ma making more as I love them too!!

This is a listing for BOTH mugs shown.
These are a lovely couple - Rare breed!! Found only here in rural Norfolk...to be precise, just here in my studio.
They measures 9.5cm x 9.5 cm and are delight to hold.
We use these for hot chocolate in the boot of the car after windy days on the North Norfolk Coast.....There is something very nice about wrapping your hands around a round mug. they hold 12 fluid ounces.
I paint using food safe underglaze colours and lead free glaze and fire to earthenware temperatures in my studio in South Norfolk.
These has been free hand painted and in blues and greens with spots and dots , and little red hearts doted all round. I use a thick paint to give texture as if if the parts of the owl have been stitched, there are dots around the hsndle which can be so clearly felt under the surface of the glaze.
I post using a courier taking two days, and use recycled magterials to package.
Each item comes with an artist info / care label attached with string
