Ahoy and Avast ye!!
I give no quarter to those not liking pirate things!
This ere nipperkin (half mug) is perfect for a pirate loving child - or a grown up liking half a cup size for strong coffee and rum! Stripy round the outside with a swishy black banner reading "Yo ho Yo ho A Pirates life" with a Jolly Roger flag on the other side. The banner is tied on to the top of the mug . Because this is free hand painted you can feel the paint under the surface of the glaze.
I use food safe underglaze colour and lead free glaze. This is fired up to high earthenware temperature, it is dishwasher safe - Though I don't know many pirates with dishwashers. these are back stamped and signed and titled "Because they arrrgh" (the punch line of that most excellent Pirate joke!!
Oh and I use recycled materials to post out. Pirates don't like waste and rubbish.
