Whilst feeding my addiction to kimono fabric I was amazed to discover that Japan was heavily influenced by western modernist design in the 1950's and 60's. I have found fabrics heavily inspired by Eames and Day. As with European vintage print fabric, these are highly collectable. But of course this is hand woven and entirely unique.
