Item details

This is designed and lasercut by me in my workshop in Devon.
I think it would make a lovely, thoughtful present for any level of sewing fanatic.
It measures 24 cms in diameter and is made from high quality birch plywood.

I finish the signs off by giving a light coat of wax to bring out the beauty of the wood and give a subtle sheen. If you would like a particular colour of ribbon or a painted version just send me a message and I'll see what I can do (I have far too many colours to list them all here!) I could even produce a personalised version with someone's name if that tickles your fancy ;)

If you want to paint it yourself, let me know and I won't wax it just so your paint will go on nice and evenly.

I'm addicted to sewing and I absolutely LOVE my sewing room (which some might call a messy spare bedroom but they would have no imagination!)
I thought a sign for the door of my sewing room (or even for the wall in the room) would make my room seem more official and therefore more productive (hmm, wait and see).
Also, I became completely hooked to the Great British Sewing Bee on BBC 2 and thought if I made my surroundings prettier maybe I could be as talented as the contestants on the show.
