Do you ride a bike ? Are you a cyclist ? Even a meerkat gets tired of walking sometimes and enjoys riding his handknitted bicycle, especially on bike to work day!
Meerkats don't need training wheels, they're keen racing bikers and love nothing better than freewheeling down a hill. They're not keen on hand signals (perhaps because their tiny paws are sewn to the handlebars) but are able to indicate with their tail, so it's not a problem.
Feet are attached to the pedals which are wired - I do hope you appreciate the "one pedal up, one pedal down" pose - that took a fair bit of puzzling!
The complete soft sculpture stands around 7 inches tall (18 cm). It is free-standing (I've added a tiny prop)
Not suitable for small children due to tiny parts, knit to order
